As Travel restrictions are changing everyday, IATA (International Air Transport) called on governments intending to introduce COVID-19 testing for travelers to deliver test results quickly,accurately, and at scale. Already a number of airlines require passengers to produce evidence of a recent negative COVID-19 Test prior to flying, to avoid transmission during the flights.

Multiple destinations already require a COVID-19 / coronavirus PCR swab test for travel. Destinations include multiple countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. Most destinations require the test to be done 72 or 96 hours before departure so please check your requirements and book in accordingly.

The tests Fit-to-Fly need to be processed between three and five days before the flight departure to be accepted by the airlines 48h-72h-96 hours before departure, we offer guarantee results in adjusting to your flying time. Our PCR are , tested in one of the most reliable labs in Central London, Harley Street.

Our PCR swab test is a test, which tests for the presence of the covid-19 virus, can identify if you have currently got the virus.

For patients with current symptoms , we can post the test, the patient should return the swab to us or post it directly after testing at home, next day delivery.

Full instructions on taking your sample and where to drop it off are included with your test kit. You will be emailed your results with your travel certificate the same day of receipt of your sample from the lab.

Our priority is to provide you with the fastest possible results in a safe manner. Therefore, patients collect their self-test kit from one of our clinics in Central London.  Our clinics are within 10/15-minute walk of the lab where patients can drop off their samples directly or leave it with to drop it.  If you do the test in house courier service will collect your sample to the laboratory. You will receive full details on booking.

We would advise you to drop off your sample to us or by the laboratory as early as possible, such that it is just within the time window required by your airline. For instance, if the test needs to be no more than 72 hours before your flight, then take a sample and deliver it to the lab exactly 72 hours before your flight. You are welcome to collect your sample kit in advance and then only take the sample and deliver it to the lab at the exact time required. Samples can be dropped off at the laboratory in Harley Street, 7 days a week. Instructions on how to collect your sample and return it to the lab and collect your results will be discussed at your convenience.

If you require a sample to be tested at the weekend or in the evening, we recommend you book an appointment to collect your self-test kit during working hours any time prior to the weekend or evening.  Then you can take your sample at home any time you wish and drop it off directly at the laboratory, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Full details of where to take your sample will be discussed with you.

You will receive your results by email.  Your results will be back within 70 hours from receipt of your sample at the laboratory. The laboratory runs 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, so turnaround times are the same at weekends as midweek.  In the exceptionally unlikely event that your results are not back within 70 hours, provided you followed the instructions on your test kit, Yourhealthfirst Clinic would refund your test fee in full.  We are not liable for any other associated costs should your results be delayed.

Sample kits can be collected at our location in Harley street collection points shown on the booking page.  You will find the address on the booking page and will be sent directions by email on booking.

After you book your appointment you will go to one of our locations to collect your sample kit.  You will then be able to take your sample there and then if you wish.  The sample requires you take a swab from your nose and throat. Full instructions of how to do this are included in your test kit or in the link in our website.

There laboratory site is within 15 minutes’ walk of the sample collection.  For other collection arrangements, our couriers will take your samples directly to the laboratory on your behalf. Full details of these are contained within your test kit.

Simply book a test for the first member of your party, on the payment, screen enter the details of the second person. Repeat for any other members you wish to book for, note that every member of your party will need to attend in person to collect their test kits and present their photo identification.

You will be emailed a copy of your results to assessment, together with your lab results report.

Your assessment will show the date and time at which the sample was taken.  It will also show the date at which our Doctor reviewed your results and wrote your assessment to fly or work. We are unable to modify lab report dates.  If you wish us not to prepare your report until a certain date, then please let us know after submitting in your sample.  Should your results be positive we shall of course notify you right away as you would be required to self-isolate immediately.

Yes. Simply book an appointment for when you would like to pick up your test kit. You are welcome to take the sample and drop it off at the lab several days later. Thelaboratory is open 24/7 which is useful if you wish to drop it off as soon as is permissible by your airline.

Please bring your printed test form and photo identification with you when you collect your test kit. You ID needs to match the name on the form.  Every member of your party needs to be present with their own ID to collect their test kit.

Different airlines have different policies and they are changing frequently. Unfortunately,we do not know the specific requirements of each airline. Please contact your airline for details of their requirements.

To ensure the fastest possible turnaround, your results and fitness to fly assessment will be emailed to you. These are on a Yourhealthfirst Clinic or our partner Doctor headed document and include the signature and GMC number of our Doctor who will review your results.

For safety purposes, our tests are self-collection PCR swabs. You will not meet with a member of clinical staff. You will collect a self-test kit from our location, however if you find difficulties taking the test yourself, we can arrange with one of our Doctors, incurring a extra fee (check prices on our page) . The kit includes full instructions on how to take your test and where to return your sample.

Our fitness to flyis a SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) reverse transcriptase real-time PCR swab. We are not aware of any airlines which are requesting passengers have any other type of test.

If your covid-19 PCR test is positive our patient care representative will talk you through the next steps. You and your household will need to isolate. For more information go to the NHS covid-19 website. Do not visit a health centre such as a hospital, GP surgery or pharmacy. Do not come to one of our clinics.

 

A negative PCR test means that you were not infected with covid-19 when you took the test. If you have no symptoms, you can continue as normal. However, if you have symptoms, follow the advice on the NHS covid-19 website.
